With this, the last week of the NFL’s regualar season, I thought it was time to look back on the 2010 season. First there was Rex vs his former team, then there was the Jets beating New England to be immediatly followed by a run to 9-2 and a trip to New England. Well we all know what happened there. They showed exactly what type of a football team they were. An average team just good enough to make the playoffs. So as i sit here and watch the Jets vs Buffalo game, Im beginning to think. What can this team do in the post season? Well, I think that has directly to do with two key components. One, the quarterback Mark Sanchez. If Sanchez play the way he did last year in the post season the Jets have a chance, if he doesnt then well its one and done. The second, the defense. The corners are great, no problems there but if this defense is going to make a statement its going to have to get pressure on the quarterback, which is something they havent done. Anytime you make the postseason, you have had a successful season but without a deep playoff run it will leave things to be desired.
