Philip Humber (1-2, 4.42 ERA) vs. AJ Burnett (3-0, 4.37 ERA)
Humber will make his first appearance at Yankee Stadium.  He’s coming off a rough outing against the Tampa Bay Rays.  He gave up four runs and six hits in 5.1 innings.  In Burnett’s first four starts he is 3-0 and has struck out 22 in 22.2 innings.  He has shown more consistency than he did last year as he is seeking his fourth win of the season to close out the month of April.

Gavin Floyd (2-1, 4.00 ERA) vs. Ivan Nova (1-2, 7.63 ERA)
Floyd’s last outing in Tampa was the White Sox’s lone win in their last 11 games.  Floyd struck out seven Rays in that game.  Nova has not started since April 15.  He made one relief outing in Toronto which turned into a Yankees loss in extra innings.  He will make his fourth start of the year where he needs to fix a command issue with his fastballs.

Mark Buehrle (1-2, 5.40 ERA) vs. Bartolo Colon (1-1, 3.50 ERA)
Buehrle is in search of career victory number 150.  He has been stuck at 149 since Opening Day.  In his last outing in Detroit he took the loss allowing six runs and eight hits in 5.2 innings.  Colon took the win up in Toronto in his first big league start since 2009.  He gave up just two runs in 6.2 innings.

Edwin Jackson (2-2, 4.88 ERA) vs. CC Sabathia (1-1, 2.73 ERA)
In two starts Jackson has given up 23 hits and is coming of a 9-0 loss in his last outing in Detroit.  He lacked control of his slider in that start.  Sabathia won his first game of the season as the Yankees stomped on the Baltimore Orioles 15-3.  He has gone at least 6 innings in four of his five starts.  He went 8 complete innings in Baltimore.
