Fantasy Hockey POTN (5/19)

WRITTEN BY CHRIS WASSEL | 19 MAY 2011

This was a tough choice tonight and there was a lot of careful consideration.  When a hockey team scores seven, usually there are several really good choices.  Sure enough there was on this night. Now Chris Higgins could have worked with his three points or maybe Henrik Sedin but the guy we chose tonight had only two points but he made the biggest fantasy impact in our humble opinion.

In the end, our Fantasy POTN was Kevin Bieksa.  He had a goal and an assist plus a fight too. His goal was so much more influential and impactful as that set Vancouver on its way.  It is a little odd that a defenseman was that far gone on a breakaway but that is how it is sometime.  Give Bieksa credit as he has been very good in the first two games for the Canucks.

Here is some video…..

Gordie Howe hat trick is always something very worthy of being rewarded and tonight is no exception.  Have a great night.
