Playoff “This Day” (6/5)

WRITTEN BY CHRIS WASSEL | 05 JUNE 2011

So if Nathan Horton had been suspended…oh never mind.  Arguments like that can really seem like child’s play because at this juncture they really are.  Well today we have another classic moment from playoffs of years past.  This moment floated into our inbox and comes from the 2004 Stanley Cup Finals.  This was one of those series that more people should have watched than actually did.

First as always the video and then the moment.

Brad Richards scored two power-play goals in the second period, and Martin St. Louis scored the winning goal 33 seconds into the 2nd OT and added an assist as the Lightning won 3-2 over the Flames, in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals, in Calgary.
