Mitre Is Back With The Yankees

According to Chad Jennings, Sergio Mitre is back in the bullpen, pitching for the New York Yankees.

“The Yankees have acquired Sergio Mitre from the Brewers in exchange for Cash. He’ll be with the team tomorrow”.

“Buddy Carlyle has been designated for assignment”.

The Milwaukee Brewers designated Mitre for assignment on Monday. Sergio was traded to Milwaukee back in March for left-fielderChis Dickerson.

While pitching for the Brewers, Mitre has posted a 3.27 ERA in 33 innings.

The two years he pitched for the Yankees (09/10), Sergio Mitre had pitched in 105.2 innings, giving up 68 runs, 114 hits, 17 home runs, 29 walks and had a 5.03 ERA.
