The Captain Is Back In The Lineup

The beloved Captain of the New York Yankees, Derek Jeter, is back in tonight’s lineup and back playing short-stop. Jeter went on the disable list, June 14, with a strained right calf that he sustained while running to first base. Jeter was six hits shy of 3000 when he went on the disable list.

Taking the ball tonight for the Yankees is Allan James Burnett. The last time Burnett faced the Tribe was back on June 13. Burnett only allowed five hits through 7 2/3 innings in the 1-0 loss
