Ex-St. Peter’s Prep Star signs with the Washington Redskins

Ex-St. Peter’s Prep and Florida Gator Will Hill is close to signing with the Washington Redskins, http://www.dcsportsreport.com is reporting.  Hill, a 2008 graduate of St. Peter’s Prep and the # 1 overall athlete of the same graduating class according to many scouting websites, played 3 seasons at the University of Florida before leaving the school and declaring himself eligible for the NFL Draft in April.
In 3 years at Florida, Hill had 6 interceptions and 51 tackles, but it was his off the field extra-corriculars and poor 40 time at the NFL Combine in February, which were his ultimate fall from a possible mid-round selection to Undrafted Rookie Free Agent.
Plenty has been written about Hill’s twitter account, which boasted about oral sex, prostitution, illegal drug use, and complaints about the University of Florida, but his early June arrest for driving with a suspended license in Florida, has gone almost unnoticed.

In Hill, the Redskins are gaining a good football player. But is his baggage too much for the Redskins in the Defend the Shield NFL?  This will be answered in time, but I hope the young man I know changes, because the Will Hill that left school early needs a lot of help.
